Product Description
✔ Performance Stabilizer Bar Links are upgraded stabilizer bar connecting components engineered for performance vehicles, sport SUVs and track-day vehicles pursuing ultimate handling limits and fast dynamic response.
✔ Built around the core design philosophy of lightweight construction, high rigidity and low friction, the link shafts are made of high-strength chromoly steel (4130 alloy steel). The material undergoes cold drawing followed by integral quenching and tempering to reach HRC 42–45, balancing strength and ductility.
✔ Compared with conventional stabilizer bar links, the shaft diameter is enlarged to 22 mm, wall thickness increased by 30%, and the bending section modulus improved by approximately 65%.
✔ In an innovative design, needle roller bearings replace traditional plastic bushings inside the ball joints. Adopting a double-row staggered needle roller layout, the assembly supports a radial load up to 35 kN and an axial load up to 12 kN, cutting dynamic response lag to less than 0.02 seconds.
✔ Dust boots are manufactured from oil-resistant and weather-resistant hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) with a labyrinth seal structure to block moisture ingress.
✔ Two series are available: standard length and short version, covering sedans, coupe SUVs and lowered modified vehicles.

Assembly Instructions
✔ Installation of Performance Stabilizer Bar Links demands strict control over working environment and precision; assembly inside a clean workshop is recommended.
✔ Before installation, use vernier calipers to measure the diagonal distance between the original mounting holes on the left and right sides of the vehicle to verify no frame distortion exists.
✔ Apply factory-specified assembly grease to the needle roller bearing ball joints of these high-performance links. Press the tapered surface of the upper ball joint into the tapered hole of the stabilizer bar using a dedicated pressing tool - hammering is prohibited. Fit the lower ball joint into the control arm hole in the same manner.
Adopt a staged tightening procedure:
1. Pre-tighten to 60 N·m; turn the steering wheel to full left and full right three times apiece to allow automatic centering of needle roller rolling elements.
2. Retighten to 100 N·m.
3. Final torque setting: 130 N·m.
✔ This product features precision fits. All fasteners must be tightened sequentially following a cross torque sequence (upper first, then lower; left side followed by right side).
✔ After installation, measure the axial clearance of ball joints with a dial indicator; the reading shall be ≤0.15 mm. Readjust the thickness of shims if this tolerance is exceeded.
Operating Precautions
✔ Performance Stabilizer Bar Links are engineered exclusively for high-performance street and track applications. A faint "roller noise" from the needle roller bearing assembly may occur during cold startup (oil temperature below 20 °C), which disappears once operating temperature rises and does not constitute a defect.
✔ Do not substitute general-purpose grease or lithium-based grease for the dedicated bearing lubricant, otherwise the friction-modified coating on needle roller surfaces will be damaged.
✔ If the vehicle operates extensively in saline-alkali terrain or coastal regions, thoroughly rinse and fully dry the links after every outing. Although Dacromet coating delivers excellent heat resistance, it offers limited protection against chloride ion corrosion.
✔ Additionally, these links must not be matched with low-quality aftermarket anti-sway bars. Mismatched hardness will induce abnormal resonance and may damage ball joint housings.
✔ If link surface temperature exceeds 80 °C after drifting or continuous slalom driving, stop the vehicle to allow cooling, preventing accelerated thermal aging of sealing components.
