As a crucial connecting component in a car's suspension system, the routine maintenance of anti-roll bar links (also known as sway bar linkages) is essential for ensuring handling stability and ride comfort.

1. Regularly Check Connection Tightness: Every 10,000 kilometers or during maintenance, check the bolts at both ends of the anti-roll bar for looseness, especially the ball joints connecting the shock absorber and the anti-roll bar, to prevent detachment or abnormal noise due to vibration.

2. Observe Bushing and Ball Joint Wear: Cracks, aging, or deformation of rubber bushings or ball joints will directly affect the efficiency of the anti-roll bar, leading to increased body roll during cornering and increased steering wheel play. Replace any bushings with obvious cracks or looseness immediately.

3. Pay Attention to Driving Noises: If a "clunking" sound is heard from the chassis when going over bumps or turning, it may be due to dry or worn anti-roll bar ball joints. Try adding grease (for lubricated ball joints); if this is ineffective, replace the bushings.

4.Avoid neglecting to inspect after driving through water. Frequent driving through water or in humid, saline environments can easily lead to rust on metal parts and sticking of ball joints. It is recommended to wash the chassis when washing the car and to perform anti-corrosion checks regularly.

5.Routine Maintenance of Adjustable Rocky Straps

After modifications, it's crucial to pay attention to compatibility. If you've replaced the suspension with coilovers or adjusted the ride height, the original rocky strap angles may no longer be suitable, causing the anti-roll bars to be under stress prematurely or become ineffective. In this case, it's recommended to assess whether adjustable rocky straps are needed to restore the correct geometry.
